Kristin Fisher joined CNN on 20 July 2021 as Space and Defense Correspondent. As a Space and Defense Correspondent she covers all aspects of space from NASA to the newly formed Space Force as well as commercial space businesses as well as space tourism. Kristin's parents were each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now been an White House reporter for FOX News, covering Trump and Biden Administrations on space issues. In that period, Kristin was also a reporter covering impeachment proceedings for the president, the 2020 Presidential campaign as well as efforts of two administrations to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. She traveled extensively with both the Vice President and the President included a trip exclusive to Afghanistan, which she took along with Donald Trump. Kristin holds an Bachelor of Science in Journalism which she received at Boston University. Her husband and three year-old daughter reside in Washington, D.C.
